Add variety the easy way with bulb collections!

Fill up a flowerbed or simply add some color interest with these bulb collections. We offer three choices in our spring 2024 fundraising program:

  • Summer Sun Garden Mix (80 bulbs)
  • Butterfly Garden Collection (21 bulbs)
  • Daylily Collection (3 bulbs)

Summer Sun Garden Mix

Summer Sun Garden Mix includes Blazing Star, Golden Yellow Lily, Hardy Gladiolus Mix, and Freesia Mix.

Summer Sun Garden Mix Details

  • Hardiness Zones: 5-8
  • Plant Type: Blazing Star, Lily, and Hardy Gladiolus are perennial in zones 5-8; Freesia is perennial in zones 9-10 (annual in zone 8 or colder)
  • Bloom Time: Late spring to late summer depending on variety
  • Mature Plant Size: 18″-48″ tall depending on variety
  • Light Requirements: Full sun
  • Planting: 6″ deep and 12″-15″ apart for Blazing Star and Lily; 6″ deep and 2″-3″ apart for Hardy Gladiolus; 3″ deep and 2″-3″ apart for Freesia
  • Soil Type: Average, moist, well-drained soil

Butterfly Garden Collection

Butterfly Garden Collection includes Butterfly Weed, Globe Thistle, Mignon Yellow Dahlia, Pompon Dahlia Mix, and Crocosmia Mix.

Butterfly Garden Collection Details

  • Hardiness Zones: 3-9 for Butterfly Weed; 3-8 for Globe Thistle; 8-10 for Mignon Yellow Dahlia and Pompon Dahlia Mix; 5-9 for Crocosmia Mix
  • Plant Type: Perennial in the hardiness zones listed above for each variety; for Dahlias and Crocosmia Mix, dig up and store over winter in colder zones or treat them as annuals
  • Bloom Time: Early to late summer depending on variety
  • Mature Plant Size: 12″-36″ depending on variety
  • Light Requirements: Full sun
  • Planting:1″ deep and 18″ apart for Butterfly Weed and Globe Thistle; 2″ deep and 12″-15″ apart for Mignon Yellow Dahlia and Pompon Dahlia Mix; 3″-5″ deep and 6″-8″ apart for Crocosmia Mix
  • Soil Type: Moist, well-drained soil

Daylily Collection

Daylily Collection includes three varieties of reblooming daylilies: Joan Senior, Purple d’Oro, and Stella d’Oro.

  • Hardiness Zones: 3-9
  • Plant Type: Perennial
  • Bloom Time: Early to late summer depending on variety
  • Mature Plant Size: 12″-26″ tall depending on variety
  • Light Requirements: Full to part sun
  • Planting: 1″ deep, 18″-24″ apart
  • Soil Type: Moist, well-drained soil
